Los Angeles Sparks Round Out Roster with WNBA All-Star

Sparks Add Clarendon and Joyner to 2023 Squad

The Los Angeles Sparks have finalized their 2023 roster with the additions of WNBA All-Star Layshia Clarendon and forward Jasmine Joyner.

Clarendon, a six-time All-Star and two-time All-WNBA selection, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Sparks. The guard has averaged 11.6 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game over her career.

Joyner, a 6-foot-3 forward, joins the Sparks after spending the past two seasons with the Dallas Wings. She averaged 8.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last season.

The Sparks also announced that they have re-signed guard Brittney Sykes and forward Katie Lou Samuelson.
